Arriving in Kathmandu, Tintin and Snowy search for their friend Chang Chong-Chen who is presumed dead after a plane crash in the Himalayas. Unlike other Tintins books, Tintin in Tibet has only a small number of characters and no villains, which means there is a lot more focus on our heroes. There is plenty of action too but this story is more about friendship and camaraderie. As with all Tintin comic books, the brilliant drawings and slapstick humour make this a fun and easy read.
