If the two series of the original sitcom weren't enough to satisfy their thirst for cringe; then the US version of The Office should provide plenty of awkward moments to wince at. The office politics of paper merchant Dunder Mifflin's employees are on display in this mockumentary style series which, surprisingly for a remake, is just as entertaining as Ricky Gervais' original incarnation and has an extra appeal of its own. Steve Carell is painfully brilliant as office manager Michael Scott; a man with zero social skills who so desperately aches to be liked that he regularly 'dies on stage' in his attempts. The box set includes seasons 1-5, totalling at 100 episodes of top quality watch-through-your-fingers comedy.
