Held on the last weekend in August every year, the Reading and Leeds festivals are the gigs that any credible international rock bands MUST play. 2011's superb line-up includes Muse, My Chemical Romance, Pulp and The Strokes. With an added legacy of infamous historical moments such as Kurt Cobain being wheeled onto stage to perform with Nirvana for the last time in the UK in 1992 and The Libertines' much hyped on-stage reunion 2 years ago, this is the festival duo that really does 'memorable'.
